Surfcam, by Vero Software, at Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show 2017 Oct. 3-5, West Allis, Wis.

The innovative Surfcam computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) solution will be shown Oct. 3-5 at Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show 2017, hosted at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wis.

The Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show is Wisconsin’s largest manufacturing event, and drew over 5,000 guests to its last installment. This year, the event is back with more than 80,000 square feet of exhibit space, products and services. Attendees will experience the latest technologies, find new suppliers, view live machining demonstrations, and interact with industry leaders.

Attendees can learn more about Surfcam at booth No. 539, where demonstrations of the solution’s latest features and upgrades will be offered.

Surfcam 2017 R2 introduces a new turning cycle that includes B-axis capabilities for machining on a turning center. This new feature delivers greater accessibility in the machining of complex profiles by dynamically positioning the insert.

As the toolholder is gouge-protected, users have even more control over toolpath by deploying over-ride angles. This new cycle can be used with all types of turning tools, and for both roughing and finishing operations.

There are nearly 20 upgrades available with Surfcam 2017 R2, including those for turning, milling, simulation, and wire EDM functionality.
