Surfcam and CIM Solutions to Host Surfcam User Group Meeting on Oct. 19 in Wixom, MichiganDesigned to inform and educate Surfcam users about how to utilize the solution’s latest technologies, a Surfcam User Group Meeting will be hosted on Oct. 19 at the offices of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, in Wixom, Michigan.
Co-hosted by Surfcam, Surfcam reseller CIM Solutions, and Vero Software parent company Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, the educational event will feature informational presentations by representatives of each company. Presenting will be Sales Engineer-Automated Measurement Systems Reggie Caskey of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Surfcam Product Manager John Buehler, Surfcam Sales Manager Chris Ewald, and President Bob Jastrzebski and Applications Engineer Mark Hill of CIM Solutions.
In addition to highlighting the capabilities offered by Surfcam, user-group meetings provide a platform for the Surfcam team to receive vital customer feedback, as well as for users to connect with peers and product experts.
Topics covered at the meeting will include overviews of the Surfcam Designer CAD for CAM solutions, an overview of Surfcam’s 2018 releases, and previews of the upcoming 2019 releases. Also included will be an overview of the Surfcam Inspect (On Machine Verification) solution, a tour of the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence facility, and demonstrations of a portable inspection arm and coordinate measurement machine (CMM).
