First tool’s first task: Roughing stage Rough from top to bottom at the largest tool’s maximum capable depth of cut.
First tool’s second task: Step Reduction Stage Machine from bottom to top reducing its own steps in preparation for the next tool.
Second tool’s first task: Roughing stage Rough from top to bottom wherever the previous tool couldn’t fit (the handle feature, all corner picking, etc.)
Second tool’s second task: Step Reduction Stage Machine from bottom to top reducing its own steps in preparation for the next tool (or finishing operation).
